Zomdo

Zomdo (zomdo.com) is an online marketplace connecting US retailers with American shoppers — beauty, wellness, jewelry, electronics, fashion, and home goods. Behind the storefront, EKPK engineered the data pipeline that keeps a catalog of thousands of products accurate without a merchandising team touching it.

The problem

Catalogs rot. Automation doesn't.

A marketplace lives or dies on catalog freshness: new arrivals, price changes, stock-outs, and delistings arrive daily from many sources. Doing that by hand caps how big the catalog can get — so we built it to run itself.

Automated Imports

Product data ingested from source feeds and APIs, then created and updated on the Shopify storefront without manual entry.

Normalization & Categorization

Titles, images, variants, and categories cleaned and mapped to the storefront's taxonomy so listings stay consistent at scale.

Product Lifecycle Handling

Price changes, availability, and delistings flow through automatically — shoppers never land on a dead product.

Merchandising Analytics

Reporting on what sells, what stalls, and where the catalog should grow next.

EKPK's role

The pipeline behind the storefront.

A retail catalog is a data-engineering problem wearing an e-commerce costume — exactly the kind we like.

Architecture
An import pipeline built for daily unattended runs — idempotent updates, safe retries, and full auditability of what changed and why.
Engineering
Feed ingestion, product normalization, image handling, and Shopify sync for a catalog of thousands of SKUs.
Operations
Scheduled automation with monitoring, so catalog problems surface to a dashboard instead of a customer.

Your turn

Running a storefront on manual data?

If your team spends its week copying product data between systems, that's a pipeline waiting to be built. Bring us the mess.
